These Seller Terms are in addition to our main Terms of Service and apply whenever you list a book on OldTextBooks.com.
1. Listing quality
- Upload 1–6 clear photos per book — cover, index and any wear.
- Describe condition honestly: Like New, Good, or Fair.
- Auto-price defaults to 25% of MRP; adjustments must be reasonable.
2. Dispatch commitment
Hand the book to the courier within 48 hours of order confirmation. Repeated delays may lead to warnings, listing pauses, or account suspension.
3. Wallet & payouts
Sale proceeds credit to your wallet after delivery is confirmed. Payouts to UPI have a ₹100 minimum and are processed within 24–48 hours after approval.
4. Refunds & seller fault
If a return is approved due to your fault (wrong book, undisclosed damage), the sale is reversed and any related wallet credit is recovered.
5. Prohibited
- Photocopied or pirated books.
- Books that infringe copyright.
- Manipulating photos or misrepresenting condition.
6. Account standing
We track cancellations, disputes and refund rates. Sellers with strong track records get faster approvals; repeated issues can lead to suspension.
