OldTextBooks ships used academic textbooks across India through trusted courier partners. This policy explains dispatch, delivery and charges.
1. Dispatch time
Sellers are expected to hand over the book to our courier within 48 hours of order confirmation. You'll receive an email with tracking details as soon as the parcel is picked up.
2. Delivery timelines
- Metro cities: 3–5 business days after dispatch.
- Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities: 4–7 business days.
- Remote pin codes: up to 10 business days.
These are estimates; actual delivery may vary due to weather, holidays or courier constraints.
3. Shipping charges
Shipping charges are shown transparently at checkout and depend on the book's weight and destination pin code. Multiple books shipped by the same seller may be combined at a lower rate.
4. Serviceable pin codes
We ship to every serviceable pin code in India. Enter your pin code on the product page to see whether we deliver to your location.
5. Tracking
Once dispatched, you can track the parcel from your Orders page or via the tracking link in the shipping email.
6. Failed delivery
If the courier is unable to deliver after two attempts, the parcel is returned to the seller. You may re-attempt delivery by contacting support@oldtextbooks.com — additional shipping charges may apply.
7. International shipping
We currently ship only within India.
